Itinerary
Day 1: arrival to Cairo
Day 2: Giza pyramids- great Sphinx- step pyramid & Memphis.
Day 3: Egyptian museum-fortress of Saladin-Coptic Cairo.
Day 4 : flight to Luxor- Karnak temple & luxor temple.
On arrival to Luxor your tour guide will escort you to visit the temple of Karnak then transfer to your cruise boat in time for lunch and later around sunset you will visit the temple of luxor.
Overnight: Nile Cruising | Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5: the West Bank of luxor city & sailing to Edfu
in the morning your tour guide will collect you from the cruise boat after breakfast to enjoy visiting the valley of the kings, temple of queen Hatshepsut and the colossal statues of Memnon then return back to the cruise boat which will set sail for Edfu via Esna lock
Day 6: Edfu & Kom Ombo temple
After breakfast onboard the cruise you will visit the temple of Horus at Edfu city by horse and carriage for nearly 3 hours and on your return back to the cruise it will set sail for Kom Ombo temple
Relax as we sail the Nile. Later today we visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. A unique riverside temple, it is unusual in that everything architecturally is doubled and perfectly symmetrical along the main axis of the temple including twin halls, courts, colonnades, sanctuaries and entrances. Arrive Aswan, a prosperous town at the crossroads of the ancient caravan routes late evening.

Day 7 : Aswan city
The Philae Temple in Aswan. Today, we enjoy a short boat trip to Agilika Island for Philae Temple – dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple dates from 4th century BC but the Ptolomies and the Romans up to 3rd century AD built most of the existing structures. In danger of being completely submerged by the rising water of Lake Nasser, in 1972 UNESCO stepped in and an 8-year rescue effort was undertaken to relocate the entire temple 20m higher on nearby Agilika Island.
After lunch, we visit the High Dam and take a felucca sailing trip to Elephantine and Kitchener Island. As the sun sets, free time to shop in the colourful souqs and markets or simply relax and watch an amazing sunset in Egypt’s southern most town straddling the River Nile.

Day 8: Abu simbel temples
Optional excursion to Abu Simbel ,an early morning excursion to see the magnificent Temples of King Ramses II at Abu Simbel. In a multimillion dollar operation lead by UNESCO in 1972, the famous temples were re-located to a higher position on the shoreline of Lake Nasser which had threatened to erode the foundations of this monolithic temple complex. Alternatively you can contact your travel agent.then board your domestic flight back to Cairo and on arrival to Cairo international airport you will be met by your driver to transfer you back to your hotel and overnight at Cairo
Day 9: transfer to Cairo international airport for departure
